The aim of the Project is 1) to obtain evidence of the existence of BNI function under field conditions, 2) to make quantitative evaluation of nitrogen dynamics in sorghum and sweet sorghum fields and clarify how and how much BNI affects the dynamics, and 3) to develop a new nitrogen fertilization guideline for sweet sorghum through adequate management of BNI.
