In view of above background, and ICRISATâ€™s research experience and capacity to undertake such complex projects by nurturing partnerships, with partners such as UAS-Dharwad through its centres at Main Agriculture Research Station (MARS)-Dharwad and Regional Agriculture Research Station (RARS)-Bijapur, UAS-Raichur (all based in Karnataka), ICRISAT in collaboration with partners in Karnataka state has developed this proposal to use advanced sorghum genomic, genetic and crop management resources for enhancing rabi sorghum productivity in Karnataka State.
